Jennifer Garner Shares Holiday Plans with Her Children and Their Cooking Skills
Jennifer Garner enjoys the festive season with her three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the actress detailed how her family celebrates Year-End festivities.
When discussing Thanksgiving, Garner highlighted her children's newfound cooking abilities. Each has embraced a specific dish they prepare for the family meal. "One kid specializes in mashed potatoes, another in apple pie, and then there's one who surprises us all," she shared with a chuckle.
Garner contributes to the holiday spread by baking a beloved 10-grain bread from The Bread Bible by Rose Levy Beranbaum. "I love this recipe. It became a staple in our Thanksgiving menu, and everyone expects me to make it each year," she explained.
Though Thanksgiving holds a special place in her home, the holiday season’s excitement is apparent. Recently, her son launched into the Christmas spirit, playing music loudly as he baked ginger snaps, wearing an apron. "That energy is exactly the vibe I want in our house!" Garner expressed.
Regarding Christmas traditions, Garner plans to take her kids to see "The Nutcracker." "It's an essential Christmas event for us. Thankfully, I've emphasized its importance, and we look forward to family time together," she said.
In terms of gifts, Garner intends to use items from her KitchenAid gift guide. She's already been gifting these throughout the year for various occasions. "Each gift is a true winner; that’s the honest truth," she commented.
The gift guide features items like the KitchenAid KF8 Fully-Automatic Espresso Machine, the 2024 Design Series Evergreen Stand Mixer, the Grain & Rice Cooker, and the KitchenAid Go Kitchen Vacuum.
Garner believes these gifts will resonate with others too. "If I found these under the tree on Christmas morning as a mom, I would be overjoyed," she remarked.
