Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Jenner attended celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero's funeral on March 30 in Houston. Both stars had long been friends and clients of Guerrero’s. Notably, Jenner previously offered to cover the funeral expenses, PEOPLE reported.
Guerrero’s family shared his sudden passing on February 23. They revealed that he died at the young age of 34, with no cause of death made public. Family members also expressed gratitude for the support received during this difficult time.
Kylie Jenner, 27, and Jennifer Lopez, 55, attended Guerrero's funeral in his hometown. Numerous notable figures from the beauty industry, alongside family and friends, were present. Guerrero's family thanked everyone for their love and support while mourning his loss.

The family commented, "Jesus was the brightest light... he touched the hearts and lives of everyone." Their heartfelt statement was accompanied by a moving image of Guerrero.
Lopez and Jenner spoke openly about their love for Guerrero after his death. Jenner’s offer to cover funeral costs was publicly acknowledged by Guerrero's sister Gris on their GoFundMe page. The update expressed a heartfelt appreciation for Jenner’s support and generosity.
The description of the fundraiser explained that the raised funds were meant to cover costs for securing Guerrero's belongings and addressing unexpected expenses related to his passing.
Insiders noted that Jenner suffered greatly from Guerrero's unexpected death. A source revealed, "She is shocked and very upset but is doing her best to help his family financially." They added that Jenner wished to alleviate the family's financial concerns.

On February 25, Jenner honored Guerrero with a personal tribute, recalling him as more than a friend. She stated, "He was a light in my life... he made the heavy days feel lighter." Her heartfelt message included photos reflecting their bond.
Lopez also shared a moving tribute on social media, showcasing an emotional message and a photo of Guerrero. She described him with kindness and highlighted his gentle spirit. Lopez expressed, "You never demanded the spotlight... your heart and talent did that effortlessly."
Guerrero’s family accompanied the announcement of his death with a photograph of him in Paris. They articulated their sadness, stating, "I don’t know how the world will go on without his light... RIP Jesus. We all love you."
