Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten File for Divorce Amid Restraining Order Requests

Jesse James' wife, Bonnie Rotten, has filed for divorce, leading both parties to seek temporary restraining orders against each other. According to TMZ, James, aged 55, filed for a restraining order on November 20, following Rotten's divorce request.

The founder of West Coast Choppers, previously married to Sandra Bullock, faced accusations of domestic abuse from Rotten, whose real name is Alaina Hicks. Both individuals claim to have been victims of abuse in their court filings.

The couple married in June 2022 and welcomed their son, Bishop, in June 2023. In her comments to *TMZ*, Rotten stated that James made allegations to manipulate and gaslight her during the divorce process.

"Shouldn’t I focus on our son's safety? I will not discuss this publicly. I trust the legal system to handle these matters," she emphasized, requesting privacy.

In the court filing, James alleged that Rotten attempted to attack him, claiming she tried to break his finger. He further alleged that she injured him by poking him with her fingernail and kicked him from behind, resulting in a wrist fracture and a dislocated thumb. He has requested a court order to keep her at least 100 feet away from him and their son until the child custody hearing occurs.

Conversely, Rotten alleged that James physically assaulted her, stating he slapped her and punched her in the throat during their relationship.

Rotten had previously filed for divorce from James twice in December 2022, which she shared on Instagram. Although they reconciled at that time, she later expressed distress over private matters being aired publicly.

In her Instagram statements, she explained, "Yes, I filed for divorce … the next day, I non-suited to halt it. I love Jesse immensely and was hurt by something I saw." She reasoned her return home as she found no inappropriate messages on his phone.

"We blame miscommunications for unnecessary drama. Today, I aim for peace concerning my pregnancy and relationship with him," she added.

Notably, just two days after withdrawing the first divorce request, she filed for divorce again.

The marriage between James and Rotten is his fifth. He was previously married to Karla James from 1991 to 2002, Janine Lindemulder from 2002 to 2004, Bullock from 2005 to 2010, and Alexis DeJoria from 2013 to 2020. During his divorce from Bullock, James admitted to infidelity.
