Jessica Alba Attends FireAid Benefit After Split from Cash Warren
Jessica Alba made a notable appearance at a wildfires benefit on Thursday, January 30. This marked her first red carpet event since confirming her separation from Cash Warren.
At the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, Alba, 43, wore stylish high-waisted jeans paired with a chic black blouse. On the gray carpet, she was seen without her wedding ring. The event featured performances from renowned artists like Katy Perry, Billie Eilish, and Lady Gaga, aimed at raising funds for communities affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
This engagement occurred after the news of her split from Warren was reported on January 8. Despite this major life change, Alba has remained active and engaged. She recently traveled to New York for a girls’ trip. Additionally, she has continued her philanthropic efforts with Baby2Baby and created content for her Honest cosmetics brand. Her Instagram is filled with workout selfies and motivational messages.
On January 16, Alba addressed her split in an Instagram post. She expressed, "I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both individually and with Cash. I’m proud of our growth in marriage over the last 20 years, but now it’s time to grow as individuals. We move forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will always be family. Our children remain our priority, and we ask for privacy at this time."
Alba and Warren had been partners for 20 years. They met on the set of "Fantastic Four" in 2004 and married in 2008 in Los Angeles. They have three children: daughters Honor Marie (June 2008) and Haven Garner (August 2011) and son Hayes (December 2017).
Alba seemed to be removing her wedding ring even before the announcement, as she was seen without it at a pre-Golden Globes party on January 5. According to sources, Alba and Warren faced issues of trust and frequent conflicts in their marriage. They attempted therapy to work through past efforts, but a source mentioned that "the marriage ran its course" and communication issues persisted.
Moreover, another source revealed that Alba and Warren plan to formally file for divorce "soon." It was also noted that "Cash has been slowly moving things out of their house. But since the recent fires, they have been spending more time together as a family, supporting one another during this stressful period."
