Jessica Alba Creates 'Forever Memories' in Mexico City amid Divorce: 'My New Home Away from Home'

Jessica Alba is taking time for herself amidst her divorce from Cash Warren. The 43-year-old actress recently embarked on a rejuvenating trip to Mexico City with friends. This journey allows her to reconnect with her roots.
Alba shared moments of her trip on Instagram on March 26. With Mexican ancestry on her father's side, she expressed her feelings about the city, posting, "Forever memories made - feeling connected, satiated and nourished 🤍🥰 #CDMX might just be my new home away from home."
She kicked off her photo collection with an image of herself standing before the San Juan Teotihuacán, a site meaning "place of the gods." The trip featured appearances from her friends, including photographer Carlos Eric Lopez, actress Angelique Cabral, and entrepreneur Elsa Collins, who appeared in posts and Stories.
One memorable slide read, "the woman your ancestors prayed for." It elaborated, "They dreamed of you… a woman free enough to speak her truth." A group photo followed, showcasing them meditating near the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon.
Alba also highlighted ancient drawings from the landmark and captured local cuisine, filled with joyful images of her companions. In a comment, Cabral expressed her nostalgia: "I miss this trip already 🇲🇽 ❤️‍🔥."
Before concluding the photo series, Alba displayed images of herself relaxing in an infrared sauna, complete with beauty eye masks. One image referenced healing with, "Healing wounds as a child" written above a Band-Aid. Next to it, another image read, "healing wounds as a grownup" over the caption "Trip to Mexico."

On February 7, Alba filed for divorce from Warren after 16 years of marriage. In a statement, she noted, "I've been on a journey of self-realization and transformation… both as an individual and in partnership with Cash."
She expressed pride in their growth together over twenty years, stating it was time to embrace their new paths. Alba emphasized that their three children—Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7—will remain their "highest priority."
