Jessica Alba Unveils New Tattoo Symbolizing "Transformation" Amid Divorce from Cash Warren

Jessica Alba recently filed for divorce from Cash Warren on February 7, ending nearly 17 years of marriage. Following this significant life change, she shared an update featuring a new tattoo that highlights her focus on transformation.
On February 26, Alba posted on Instagram, stating, "The current chapter." The update included a series of videos and photos from her recent activities, showcasing a new cursive tattoo on her right forearm. The tattoo, created by artist Winterstone — who has also worked with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen — reads, "Life is transformation is life." The artist clarified that it conveys the meaning, "Life is transformation, transformation is life."
The actress, known for her role in Fantastic Four, shares three children with Warren: Honor, 16; Haven, 13; and Hayes, 7. Her Instagram update included joyful moments with her children and a video of her workout routine. She also shared several motivational phrases, such as, "You spend most of your life inside your head. Make it a nice place to be," and, "Life is to be lived — not controlled."
Alba's tattoo serves as a testament to her positive outlook during this challenging time. She expressed a commitment to healing when she initially announced her divorce. In an Instagram post on January 16—which has since been deleted — she stated, "I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I'm proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years. Now, it’s time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."

Despite separating after nearly 17 years, Alba emphasized that she and Warren will forever be connected. "We are moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will forever be family," she shared. "Our children remain our highest priority, and we request privacy at this time."
