Jessica Simpson Reveals Her Unusual Dietary Choice

Jessica Simpson recently shared a video showcasing her unconventional taste in herbal remedies. In the video, she drank what was described as a herbal drink that included snake sperm, suggested by someone involved in her music career.
The 44-year-old singer is evolving her diet in a surprising way. More than two weeks after her first public performance in 15 years, she revealed her latest tonic on Instagram.
"They're like, 'What are you drinking?'" Jessica explained to her studio colleagues in the March 28 clip. "It’s this Chinese herb thing. And I’m like, 'I don’t know.' My vocal coach told me to drink it. They Googled the ingredients — snake sperm. It’s like a honey."
Jessica, who did not disclose the product's name, humorously added, "So, if you want a good vocal, you gotta drink snake sperm."
Many viewers responded positively to the humorous video. Comments reflected that her fans were entertained. One commented, "Hahaha, that’s the Jess we (your fans) know and love."
Another user quipped, "Like the Chicken of the Sea but snake version," while a third fan joked, "Put her back on TV right now lol."
In 2003, Jessica and her then-husband Nick Lachey starred in their own MTV reality series, Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica. An iconic moment from that series was when Jessica confused Chicken of the Sea tuna with chicken, asking, "Is this chicken, what I have, or is this fish?"
Even after all these years, she continues to reference that viral moment. In 2024, she parodied this confusion in a commercial for Chicken of the Sea, which featured her eldest daughter, Maxwell, 12.
Maxwell asked, "Mom, what are you eating in that packet?" Jessica explained, "It's called Chicken of the Sea. But it's not really chicken; it's tuna. So, don't get confused by it." To which her daughter, puzzled, questioned who could be confused.
"No one," Jessica replied, pausing for emphasis. "Not your mom."
The advertisement concluded with Jessica’s voice saying, "Yes, people, I know it's tuna."
