Joel Kim Booster Started Considering Parenting After Meeting Fiancé John-Michael Sudsina

Joel Kim Booster has recently changed his perspective on parenting. During the March 20 episode of the podcast Grindr Presents: Who’s The A------? with Katya, the 37-year-old actor, best known for Loot, shared how love for fiancé John-Michael Sudsina is influencing their family planning. Booster proposed to Sudsina in 2024 and expressed a desire to collaborate on parenthood. This is prepared by SSP.

"I was not super interested in kids for a long time. However, being in love with John-Michael has made me consider having kids with him," Booster explained. "I think we'd create something really awesome together."

Katya, the podcast host, pressed further on their parenting plans, asking, "Boy or a girl?" Booster revealed that they want to start with both. "We want to have two, whether or not they are blood-related or we choose," he clarified.

Booster shared his wish for both children to be the same age. When Katya joked about it, saying they would be "Nemesis," Booster jokingly responded that he would have them compete against each other, deciding who to keep at age 13.

In addition, Booster opened up about planning the wedding with Sudsina, cheerfully affirming he views Sudsina as "endgame." He humorously commented on divorce, calling it "so embarrassing." Booster confirmed that there would be a prenup, which Sudsina supports.

Regarding the wedding, Booster noted that while they have not ironed out all details yet, "his mom, dad, and sister will come, alongside maybe a cousin or two." Unfortunately, Booster’s family will not attend, leading to "all gay guys" in attendance. He stated, "There will be no ‘Cha Cha Slide.’ The music will be all disco house vibes from a warehouse in downtown L.A."

Booster proposed to Sudsina in August 2024 during a trip to Jeju Island, South Korea. He announced his engagement on social media, noting that he started the trip with a "Vacation boyfriend" and ended it with a "Vacation husband." On Instagram, Booster expressed, "Very much in love. Very happy. No matter where I am, he’s my home.
