Joey Fatone Responds to *NSYNC Bandmates Skipping His Broadway Debut for Justin Timberlake Concert
*NSYNC members JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Chris Kirkpatrick attended Justin Timberlake's concert without Joey Fatone, who was focusing on his Broadway debut.
JC, Lance, and Chris enjoyed spending time with Justin Timberlake recently. They attended his tour stop at Thousand Palms, California. Unfortunately, this meant missing Joey's Broadway debut in New York City.
On January 21, Lance shared a photo backstage with the guys. He playfully captioned it, "In honor of Joey’s Broadway debut tonight, we had a date night without him."
Joey responded humorously in the comments, writing, "You guys are the sweetest! I appreciate it!!!!" along with a laughing emoji.
In his own Instagram post, Joey, who took over the role of Lance in & Juliet, shared a Photoshopped image of himself with the group. He quipped, "Thank you, Chris, for putting me in the photo. It is perfect! I was definitely there in spirit!"
Lance wished Joey well, saying, "Break a leg tonight, Joey!" JC added, "Have the best time with the show!"
Regarding a possible *NSYNC reunion tour, Joey mentioned the need for everyone to align their schedules before discussing it. "Justin's still on tour," he told in June. "Lance is podcasting, JC is writing, and Chris is doing radio."
Joey pointed out that "everyone has different personalities now." This raises the question, "How do we deal with that?" He emphasized that it's about creating cohesion rather than facing a negative situation.
Furthermore, JC expressed the desire for a reunion to arise naturally. He stated on the LadyGang podcast in November, "You go where inspiration is, right? I’m not one to fake it. When I’ve tried to fake it, I've always felt bad about it."
