Jon Hamm "Pours One Out" for Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover After Split: "End of an Era"
Jon Hamm expressed a relatable reaction to the breakup of Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover. The actor, known for his role in "Mad Men," shared his thoughts during CNN's New Year's Eve Live broadcast hosted by Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. This event took place in Times Square, where Hamm made a call from Chicago’s Wrigley Field during the NHL Winter Classic game, PEOPLE reported.
Cohen remarked on Bravo's current happenings, saying, "Since we talked sports, we gotta talk Bravo." After discussing the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Cooper could not help but ask, "Is Jon Hamm a fan?" Hamm's profound knowledge about the franchise impressed the hosts, showcasing his investment in the reality TV world.
Hamm commented on one particular couple: "I gotta pour one out for Craig and Paige." The couple recently parted ways after three years. "My goodness. The end of an era. Geez. Who’da thunk it?" His sentiments were echoed by Cohen, who shared several crying emojis in response to the couple's breakup announcement.
Paige DeSorbo shared the news of the split during the December 30 episode of her podcast, "Giggly Squad," with co-host Hannah Berner. She admitted, "It’s weird, it’s very weird. I wasn’t expecting this." DeSorbo reflected how individuals often don't anticipate the future of their relationships when they begin them.
Although she didn't elaborate on the reasons for their split, DeSorbo emphasized her admiration for Conover. "I have so much love and respect for him. I think he is one of the best people I have ever met," she stated. DeSorbo plans to continue being his biggest fan, wishing him the best as they move forward separately.
Meanwhile, Conover previously told "PEOPLE" that he and DeSorbo considered marriage. "We're playing the long game. The foundation that we're building is so that we die together one day, not just make it fun," he claimed before their split. The two began dating in 2021 after their appearance on "Winter House."
