Jonathan Majors Confirms Marriage to Meagan Good: 'It Was Always the Plan'

Jonathan Majors has officially announced his marriage to Meagan Good. During an appearance on the "Sherri" show on March 19, 2025, he shared details of their intimate wedding. Majors revealed that he received permission from Good's father before the two tied the knot, highlighting the significance of family during this special occasion, PEOPLE reported.
Majors expressed his joy while speaking to host Sherri Shepherd. "Today might be the happiest day of my life," he said, becoming emotional. His affection for Good was evident, stating, "I love that woman so much." He also noted that their marriage was thoughtfully planned.

Majors mentioned he sought his father-in-law's blessing before the ceremony. "I asked her father for permission. He said, 'That's cool,'" Majors recalled. He emphasized that this conversation was a crucial part of their journey together.
The wedding was officiated by Majors’ mother, who traveled from Dallas for the occasion. "My mother is a pastor, and she had never attended one of my screenings before," he explained. They informed her about their plans before the Los Angeles screening of "Magazine Dreams," where the ceremony took place.
In a touching moment, Majors said they exchanged engraved rings, which they had prepared after discussing their plans with Good's father again. "We had these rings made in Hawaii," he added.
Sources confirmed their marriage shortly after the event, stating that the couple "truly care for one another." At an engagement party for Paige Hurd and Royce O'Neale, onlookers noted how happy and glowing both Majors and Good appeared.
This couple first sparked romance rumors in May 2023 when they were seen enjoying a film together in Los Angeles. They publicly disclosed their engagement during the EBONY Power 100 Gala in November 2024, where Good proudly displayed her diamond engagement ring.

Good previously divorced pastor DeVon Franklin in June 2022. Addressing the dynamics of her relationship with Majors amid his legal struggles, she explained that he initially suggested they should not be together for her protection. "I grew up in this industry. The things I’ve been through gave me the bandwidth to love other people," she said.
In December 2023, a jury found Majors guilty of two misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment. Consequently, he received a sentence in April mandating participation in a year-long anger management program in Los Angeles.
