Joss Stone Announces Pregnancy After Recent Adoption

British singer-songwriter Joss Stone and her husband, Cody DaLuz, are expecting their fourth child just one month after adopting a son, US Weekly reported. Stone shared the joyous news on Instagram, stating, "Honestly. Shocked was an understatement 😂." She posted a video showing a positive pregnancy test and expressed her happiness, saying, "Nothing and no one can take our joy now. We are so chuffed!!!!"

In her post, Stone humorously suggested changing the name of her upcoming tour to reflect her pregnancy. "Maybe we should call the ‘Less is More Tour’ the preggo tour 😆❤️," she wrote. Stone's Less Is More: An Evening With Joss Stone tour is scheduled to kick off with eight performances across the United States in February 2025.

Joss Stone and Cody DaLuz, both parents to three children, recently formally adopted baby Bear. Stone revealed the adoption in an interview, sharing the process took nearly 18 months. In an article published December 16, she joyfully referred to Bear as "the best Christmas gift ever." She depicted their family experience, stating, "We woke up in the morning with our son — and that is something to be thankful for."

The couple married in 2023. Their motivation to adopt stemmed from DaLuz’s family history. Stone emphasized the importance of biological mothers, commenting, "Bio mothers do not get the gratitude they deserve. It is a more selfless love than I knew existed."

Baby Bear arrived 11 weeks early, leaving his excited siblings eager to meet him. Stone noted that Violet, her three-year-old daughter, understands Bear is a boy but amusingly refers to him as "her." She added, "It’s almost like she wants to put a little bow on his head. It’s such a lovely space for him."

Furthermore, Stone shared that parenthood has strengthened their marriage. In previous comments, she reflected on their relationship, noting, "We never had a big relationship before we had kids. We’re getting to know each other at the same time as doing a very difficult job." Stone continued, highlighting the challenges of parenthood including sleepless nights, describing their family dynamic as uniquely shaped through their shared parenting journey.
