Justin Bieber Discusses Personal Struggles After Supporting Hailey Bieber

Justin Bieber recently opened up about his mental health in a heartfelt message. This comes after he publicly supported his wife, Hailey Bieber, regarding her own challenges.
On March 22, Justin shared on Instagram, "I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh." He included a photo of what appears to be his seven-month-old son, Jack Blues Bieber, during tummy time.
A few hours later, Justin posted another candid message. He stated, "I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic." Accompanying this were visuals of him enjoying time with friends in a home studio. He reflected, "I remember we’re all made to think we're not enough, but I still hate when I change myself to please people."
These comments followed a sushi dinner date in West Hollywood with Hailey. Also, Justin reshared a post from January 2019. In that post, Hailey candidly expressed her struggles.
"No matter how amazing life may look from the outside, I struggle," she had shared. Following her marriage to Justin after a whirlwind romance, she noted, "I’m insecure, fragile, hurting, anxious, and I get sad and angry."
Hailey revealed that she often found herself comparing her looks on Instagram. "Every single day is a confidence battle for me," she admitted, highlighting her journey to self-acceptance.
Justin responded on his Instagram Stories by saying, "Still relevant boo." In recent weeks, he has been more vocal about his personal struggles, particularly amid rumors about their marriage.
He has previously addressed his journey with addiction. In his 2020 docushort, Justin Bieber: Sessions, he revealed that he began using drugs like MDMA and mushrooms regularly by age 19. He decided to stop using substances because he felt he was "dying."
Moreover, Justin emphasized his commitment to recovery. "Being the best me is going to help me be the best husband, father, and friend I can possibly be," he stated.
