Kanye West States He Never Wanted Children with Kim Kardashian

Kanye West revealed in a recent interview that he never wanted to have children with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Dressed in a black hood and robe that drew comparisons to Ku Klux Klan attire, West, 47, appeared on DJ Akademiks' podcast on March 30, US Weekly reported.
The conversation covered various topics, particularly West’s contentious behavior on social media. He addressed allegations that the "Kardashian mob" has influenced his parenting of their four children: North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5). West and Kardashian were married from 2014 to 2022 before obtaining joint custody in their divorce.
During the interview, Akademiks noted, "When you speak about Kim, some might say, ‘Well, you chose her. You put yourself in that situation.’" West acknowledged, "Absolutely, I did. That was my fault." He added that he regretted wanting children after just two months of their relationship but claimed, "That wasn’t God’s plan."
Recently, West criticized Kardashian and her family regarding an alleged limitation of his parenting rights. On March 15, he released a song featuring North and Sean "Diddy" Combs, titled "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine," despite Kardashian’s attempts to prevent the release.
Screenshots of a text exchange reportedly showed Kardashian informing West that North could not be credited in the song due to trademark issues. Kardashian said, "I asked you at the time if I could trademark her name. You said yes. It goes to her when she turns 18. So stop." Additionally, she mentioned sending the paperwork to protect North's interests regarding the song.

In an angry post on X, West expressed his frustration about not being able to parent freely. He wrote, "I don't want to just ‘see’ my kids. I need to raise them." He emphasized his desire to have a say in their schooling, friendships, and lifestyles, asserting that rights had been removed from him by the "Kardashian mob" and related media interests.
West also addressed his lack of control over the trademarks of his children's names and likenesses, stating, "I don’t have the name or likeness ownership, or at least 50-50, with my kids. How is it joint custody?" He expressed frustration over his children being involved in the public eye without his consent.
