Kate Middleton and Prince William's Sporty Weekend Plans Unveiled

Kate Middleton and Prince William prepare for an exciting rugby weekend in Wales, but they will cheer for different teams, PEOPLE reported.
On March 13, Kensington Palace shared their plans to attend the Wales vs. England Six Nations Match at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday, March 15. This match signals a friendly rivalry between the couple, adding excitement to their outing.
Princess Kate, 43, claims her role as the patron of the Rugby Football Union, while Prince William, 42, serves as the patron for the Welsh Rugby Union.

Before the match, the couple will visit injured players supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust at the Sir Tasker Watkins Suite. This suite at Principality Stadium is designated for injured players and their families before games.
In previous games, the couple actively participated. They attended the Wales vs. England match in February 2023, where Team England won with a score of 20-10. Princess Kate also celebrated a win in 2022 when she brought along their eldest son, Prince George, now 11, to watch the match.

Prince William steps in to support causes close to him: he supports the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, established in 1972. This charity aids players severely injured during rugby in Wales and includes family events. Injured athletes attend every Wales home game, creating a sense of community and encouraging connections among players and their loved ones.
Unfortunately, the Prince and Princess of Wales missed the Six Nations game in February 2024 due to Princess Kate's recovery from surgery. In March of the prior year, she updated the public on her cancer treatment, a crucial part of her life since then.
In September, she positively shared her completion of chemotherapy and announced being in "remission" on January 14. Since then, she has returned to a more extensive schedule of royal duties.

Earlier this week, on March 10, Princess Kate participated with family members at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey, marking a significant return after a two-year hiatus.
