Kate Middleton Resumes Gym Training After Chemotherapy Success: Royal Expert's Insights
Princess Kate Middleton is returning to her regular activities after completing chemotherapy.
According to royal expert Robert Jobson, the Princess is in good spirits and back at the gym. "Catherine is doing very well. She is training and engaging in activities she enjoys," he remarked in Hello! Magazine. Jobson expects to see more of her at public events and continued work behind the scenes.
At 42, Kate will attend the National Service of Remembrance ceremony in London on Sunday, November 10. Since announcing her conclusion of chemotherapy in September, she has been increasing her public obligations. Jobson, who authored "Catherine: The Princess of Wales," suggested Kate may choose to limit her future engagements. "Rather than traveling everywhere as before, I believe she will focus on impactful events," he mentioned. "She intends to phase her return with into activities that matter to her."
Jobson also noted that Kate "has a different perspective" after her battle with cancer.
Her priorities are shifting towards family while she manages key royal events. Jobson clarified that Prince William supports her gradual return but doesn't expect an immediate series of engagements. According to him, it makes a "bigger statement" if Kate appears less frequently, a trend observed in recent months.
Following her cancer diagnosis in March, Kate maintained a low profile. Now, with chemotherapy completed, she is preparing for her role as a public-facing royal once again. A source shared with Us Weekly that Kate is eager to reconnect with the community.
"Kate enjoys representing her family but seeks balance between her duties and personal well-being," the insider noted. She recognizes the importance of purpose but is mindful of her stress levels.
The source described the situation as a "double-edged sword" for Kate. While she wants to focus on her health, she is keen to return to public work. "[Working] is beneficial for her emotional health, but she needs to avoid overextending herself." The insider affirmed, "She is determined and motivated while caring for herself throughout this journey."
