Khloé Kardashian Opens Up About Love and Dating at 40
Khloé Kardashian is embracing the prospect of love as she enters her 40s. In the season 6 premiere of "The Kardashians," the mother of two reassured viewers she is open to dating again. When her close friend Malika Haqq asked when she would start dating, Khloé responded directly, showcasing her hopes for the future.
"I pray. It can’t be over for me yet," the Good American founder shared, reflecting on her journey since turning 40 on June 27. She confirmed her intent to go on "at least one date" during her 40s, expressing optimism. "It’s not going to happen the day I turn 40, but it will happen," she affirmed.
During a candid moment with her family earlier in the episode, they discussed her milestone birthday. Kris Jenner stated, "This is gonna be your decade," while Kim echoed the sentiment. Khloé had an empowering reaction, stating she would "own" her decade. "As long as you're healthy, I think it's great getting older," she added, appreciating the freedom that comes with self-acceptance and age.
Khloé revealed her priorities as she looks for a partner. She expressed, "My next chapter is: I wanna find a forever partner." She stated her intention to let go of anything holding her back in her pursuit of love. This honesty continues on her podcast, "Khloé in Wonderland," where she admits finding romance challenging while managing her children.
"My kids are my top priority," Khloé declared. She expressed a practical approach towards dating, stating, "I don’t care about dating right now." Her focus is entirely on her children, showing commitment to their well-being. While she reassures listeners of her understanding of the dating scene, she remains grounded in her current reality.
In a related note, Kim Kardashian also addressed her dating life humorously during the season premiere. When producers inquired about it, she called the question "nosy." She reflected on past intentions to be single for two years but admitted, "I don’t think you know me. This is a new production crew, clearly."
New episodes of "The Kardashians" premiere every Thursday at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
