King Charles III Reveals Favorite Artists in Apple Music Collaboration

King Charles III is set to release a playlist on Apple Music called "The King’s Music Room." This playlist will debut on Commonwealth Day, March 10, and includes some of his favorite music artists, such as Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, and Grace Jones, US Weekly reported.
In a statement shared on the royal family’s Instagram account, it is noted, "Bringing together much-loved artists from across the Commonwealth, The King has shared a selection of songs which have brought him joy in ‘The King’s Music Room’ to mark Commonwealth Day 2025."
Music plays a significant role in King Charles's life. His Majesty will recount personal anecdotes explaining each song choice during a recording at Buckingham Palace.
In a related video message, Charles, at 76, expressed, "Throughout my life, music has meant a great deal to me. I know that is also the case for so many others."
He emphasized music's ability to spark joyful memories and provide comfort in difficult times. He stated, "It can lift our spirits, especially when it brings us together in celebration."

While the complete list of songs remains undisclosed, Buckingham Palace has announced some artists featured.
The playlist, incorporating diverse genres and spanning continents, showcases iconic figures like Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, and Grace Jones, along with contemporary artists such as Davido and RAYE.
"The King’s Music Room is sure to surprise and delight music fans everywhere," the announcement stated. The king aims to share personal stories connected to the selected artists and reveal how these songs create the soundtrack to his life.
