Kris Jenner Is Not Thrilled About Khloé Kardashian's Therapy Journey

Khloé Kardashian reveals that her mother, Kris Jenner, is "not happy" about her beginning therapy. This displeasure stems from Khloé's sister, Kourtney Kardashian.
During a recent episode of "The Kardashians," Khloé, who is preparing for her upcoming 40th birthday, discussed this with Kourtney, 45. "Mom is not happy," Khloé expressed while making vision boards. Kourtney questioned, "Why? If only she would go." Khloé confirmed, "She won’t, but she’s not thrilled with me."
Kourtney, in her confessional, speculated that Kris, 69, might be reacting to the shift in their own relationship when she engaged in therapy. "Maybe my mom saw the reaction I had about therapy," Kourtney noted. She added that perhaps Kris does not want the same outcome for her other daughters, thinking, "Not the other two! Kourtney is just coming around the corner being nice to me again."

Kim Kardashian and Malika Haqq were instrumental in encouraging Khloé to pursue therapy. In the previous season, Malika stated that she "a hundred percent" believed therapy would benefit Khloé. Kim also shared her own journey and encouraged her to "be on this journey with me."
Khloé noted that Kris perceives her as having complex PTSD. This perspective relates to the responsibilities Khloé had as a young caregiver to her half-sisters, Kylie, 27, and Kendall Jenner, 29. Kylie echoed this sentiment, saying, "She was like a second mom to me growing up."
Kourtney remarked, "I saw somebody say you were parentified, made to be like a parent when you're not a parent." Khloé responded with, "That's why I always take care of people."

Reflecting on her role, Kourtney said in her confessional, "Khloé’s always been a caretaker, even with me. Sometimes — or all the time, pretty much — she treats me like I'm her little sister."
Khloé shared a key insight from her therapist. "One reason I take care of others is I got attention for doing adult-like things like taking care of my sisters." She admitted, "Literally, I take better care of other people than I do of myself."
However, Khloé revealed that she hadn’t visited her therapist in "like three weeks." Her therapist remarked, "I feel like you’re not taking this seriously." Khloé felt fine and stated, "Well, you’re gonna make time for things you want to make time for."
"I’m being bullied to see my therapist," Khloé continued. "Of course, I’m gonna go see her because I’m a people pleaser, so I’m gonna go see her."
