Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Support Each Other in Onscreen Romances

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard maintain a healthy perspective on onscreen chemistry. In a recent E! News interview, Bell offered insight into their 11-year marriage. She expressed how they genuinely "root for each other" when new roles emerge.
"When he had a steamy moment with Minka Kelly in Parenthood, I thought, ‘Yes. Get it.’ We’re married, we’re not dead," said Bell. This sense of positivity is central to their relationship.
Bell elaborated on the foundational aspects of their partnership, including trust and communication. "Even if Dax hooks up with the most beautiful person in the world at work, I know he's committed to our family," she explained. She appreciates that he loves their children and strives to be a great husband and father.
"Sometimes I might feel nervous if he spends time with someone," Bell admitted. "In those moments, he is open to discussing my feelings." This open communication supports their emotional connection.

In October 2024, Bell mentioned that Shepard enjoys her chemistry with Adam Brody in the show Nobody Wants This. "Even I notice how hot it is," she acknowledged. Shepard echoed her feelings, sharing his reaction when watching the show's first episode: "I want you to kiss him so badly."
During the New Yorker Festival that month, Shepard praised Bell and Brody's onscreen connection. "I watched that kissing scene with my friend, and we both agreed it was the best ever," he joked. His lighthearted nature is key to their dynamic.
The couple, who share daughters Lincoln and Delta, believe that admitting attraction to others is natural. "Yes, I'm attracted to other guys because some are very handsome," Bell stated on The View in 2018. She clarified that it holds no reflection on her commitment or worth in her marriage.
