Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are addressing the infamous paparazzi photos showing Mauricio kissing another woman in Mykonos.

During the March 11 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the couple had an emotional conversation about the moment captured in the photos. Kyle, 56, and Mauricio, 54, discussed how the kiss complicates their amicable separation, leaving Kyle uncertain about their current standing.

She expressed her confusion, stating, "I don't know what this relationship is. I don't know if this is just a passing thing or a serious thing, and I know how women are." After sharing hugs and pleasantries, Kyle inquired about Mauricio's vacation. He explained that his nearly month-long trip to Europe involved spa visits and sound healing, mentioning he only "partied five nights out of the 25."

As Mauricio moved around the kitchen looking for tea, Kyle confessed the interaction felt "very awkward." She suggested, "I feel like he's distracting himself so he doesn't have to deal with me."

After a prolonged, loaded silence, Mauricio brought up the photos from the airport. He stated, "I know that I would never want to do anything on purpose that would hurt you or the kids. I really am sorry for hurting you." He emphasized, "I would never want to hurt you on purpose."

Kyle acknowledged his apology and stated she didn't believe he was aware he was being photographed. However, she expressed concern about the other woman's intentions. "I don't know that the other person didn't know that, but obviously that's hard to see. It's just strange," she admitted.

"The photos really did say to me, 'He's moving on,'" Kyle reflected. "You can live in this la la land for as long as you want. But that was a hammer on the head saying, 'Hello, Kyle! He's moved on! It's okay. You're both entitled to live your lives!'"

As Kyle grabbed a tissue, tears began to flow. Mauricio stepped closer and hugged her. In a confessional, she reflected on their emotional state, saying, "How did we get here if we care about each other? This is like the rug being ripped out from under you." She concluded with concern, saying, "But seeing these photos makes it clear this is permanent. I don't think it's going to be easy to come back from that."
