Kylie Kelce Reflects on Using "Bad" Pick-Up Lines on Tinder
Kylie Kelce recently shared her amusing experiences as a former Tinder user during a podcast episode. She has been married to Jason Kelce, a former Philadelphia Eagles player, since 2018. On January 12, during the Sunday Sports Club Podcast with Allison Kuch, Kylie, 32, recounted meeting Jason online while in college, PEOPLE reported.
"I hilariously met Jason on Tinder during college," Kylie mentioned. She noted that it amusingly occurred when she served as a Resident Assistant. "He would visit campus and frequently stayed in my dorm. Sorry, mom," she added with a smile.
When asked about their initial connection, Kylie reflected, "At first view, I did not recognize him. His profile lacked any hints he was a football player or associated with the Eagles."
Kylie explained her attraction to Jason began with his appearance. "He's cute and seems strong enough to pick me up." She described how she and her friends often swiped through Tinder together for entertainment, regarding it more as a game than serious dating.
When she matched with Jason, she attempted to impress him with a whimsical pick-up line: "I've fallen, I need life alert. I've fallen for you and can’t get up." To her surprise, he responded, saying, "No, you gotta try harder." Kylie admitted her supposed creative attempt felt embarrassing but amusing.
"I followed up with another line," she continued. "If I told you I work for UPS, would you let me handle your package?" Surprisingly, Jason replied positively, saying he enjoyed that line much more.
Highlighting their notable connection, Kylie noted that Jason's Tinder bio was comically searching for cuddles and conversations about babies. Despite its sarcastic tone, it unexpectedly aligned with their future.
Now, nearly four children later, Kylie and Jason are preparing for their fourth baby girl. They currently parent Wyatt, 5, and Elliotte, 3, and soon celebrate Bennett's second birthday.
