Lady Gaga to Deliver Large-Scale Free Concert in Rio de Janeiro This May

Lady Gaga is set to storm Brazil's Copacabana Beach with a massive free concert on May 3, marking her return to Rio de Janeiro since her hospitalization in 2012 forced her to cancel her last performance there. This highly anticipated show, part of the launch of "Todo Mundo no Rio," a series designed to emphasize the importance of entertainment in Rio, will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis near the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel. This is prepared by SSP.
Announced on her X account, Gaga expressed her eagerness to perform for her Brazilian fans, whom she considers core to her career. She shared heartfelt gratitude for their support during her recovery from previous health issues. Reflecting on her emotional ties with Brazil, she affirmed that she is returning "better than ever" and promised fans an unforgettable show filled with "MAYHEM."
The concert will also be broadcast live on Multishow and TV Globo for those who cannot attend in person, starting at 9 p.m. BRT. Gaga's performance follows in the footsteps of iconic events held at Copacabana, such as the Rolling Stones in 2006 and Madonna's "Celebration" tour finale in 2024. Festival organizers, Bonus Track and Live Nation – known for arranging notable Brazil events – are managing this release marking concert. Gaga is also set to release her album "Mayhem" on March 7, indicating vibrant activity on her art front in 2024 as she captures the stage in both Brazil and at Coachella this April.
Earlier, SSP reported that George Clooney spoke out on family and priorities.
