Lala Kent and Randall Emmett Settle Custody Battle Three Years Post-Breakup

Lala Kent, known from Vanderpump Rules, recently announced that she and her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, have settled their prolonged custody battle regarding their 3-year-old daughter, Ocean.

Major Milestone for Lala Kent

Lala Kent celebrated a significant achievement when she declared that her custody dispute with Randall Emmett has come to an end. During an Amazon Live session on March 4, she stated, "You guys, the custody battle is over. It’s officially ended. We’re done with it. So there’s my tea for the day."

However, Lala refrained from sharing specifics about the custody arrangement. She emphasized that the resulting settlement favors their daughter, telling viewers, "After over three years, we have signed an agreement that is best for our daughter, Ocean. So I’m very, very happy about that."

Positive Changes in Co-Parenting

With their legal issues seemingly resolved, Lala expressed how the outcome reflects her improved relationship with Randall. She noted that this struggle has deeply affected her emotions. She added, "That has weighed on my heart and soul for so long, and I’m sure it’s done the same for my ex. I’m just so happy that we were able to get to a good place for the well-being of our kid."

This agreement marks a notable improvement for the former couple, especially after Lala referred to the legal battle as a "nightmare" earlier this year.

Shifting Dynamics

In January 2024, Lala expressed concerns about the discord, describing Randall's side as "chaotic." She stated, "I don’t see resolution coming anytime soon." Yet, just a few months later, it appeared that relations between Lala and Randall were beginning to mend.

In November, during a discussion with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Lala mentioned their developing partnership.

"We have come to a place where we have one thing in common," she explained. "That is this child and what is best for her. And we have productive conversations."
