Lance Gross Shares Plans for His 10-Year Anniversary with Wife Rebecca

Lance Gross and his wife, Rebecca Gross, are preparing for their upcoming 10th wedding anniversary in May. Lance, known for his role in BET+'s romance film "Sugar Baby," shares with PEOPLE how the couple keeps their bond alive by prioritizing regular date nights.
"It feels like yesterday," Lance reflects on their intimate ceremony in Los Angeles in 2015. "We’re friends first, and we respect each other. If we disagree, we talk about it. Communication is key for us."

Lance identifies as a romantic, but he is particularly focused on their honeymoon plans for next month, a celebration they postponed. "We never took our honeymoon," he reveals. "While we travel often as a family, we haven't had that time for just us."
Now, that time is finally coming. Lance excitedly shares, "We’re going to Rome and Venice next month. I love romance."
When recalling Valentine's Day memories, he fondly remembers a special dinner on the beach in Cabo. "We had dinner by the ocean," he shares. "It started with a little argument, but I wanted to surprise her."
The surprise dinner was conveniently close to their hotel, which added excitement for Rebecca. "Seeing her face light up when I surprised her made it worth it," Lance explains.
Despite not recently asking Rebecca to be his Valentine, he prioritizes their weekly date nights. "We do date nights every Thursday," he explains. "Today is Thursday, and we actually did two date nights ahead of Valentine’s."
When discussing family, Lance emphasizes staying connected with loved ones, even while filming. "If I work away from L.A., I have them fly out to visit me," he states.
Lance is currently celebrating the release of "Sugar Baby," which came out on February 13. In the film, he portrays Anthony, a wealthy older man who falls for a character named Jade, played by Christina Cooper.

"My character is prosperous, which is fun. He has nice cars and a big house," Lance shares. "I like to prank Christina on set. I enjoy creeping up on people who are not expecting it. It keeps things playful."
Lance extends this playful spirit to fatherhood, cherishing his family role. He reveals plans for an upcoming father-daughter trip. "Every year, I take my daughter on a special trip, just the two of us," he says. "For our first trip, we went to Paris, and it was incredible."
He adds, "She is excited for our next trip, which might be to New York or Japan."
