Lauren Jauregui Expresses Love For Her Fifth Harmony Besties
Lauren Jauregui continues to have a strong connection with her Fifth Harmony bandmates. In a recent exclusive interview with PEOPLE, she discussed the group's current status during the Femme It Forward Give Her FlowHers Awards Gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on November 8. This is prepared by SSP.
When asked about staying in touch with the current members, Jauregui, 29, affirmed her feelings, "Yeah, I mean, I definitely still have a lot of love for the girls." She noted, "The four of us talk here and there. Dinah actually just had a show yesterday. I wasn't able to make it. I landed too late last night, but she and Ally were out there."
Regarding new Fifth Harmony music, Jauregui mentioned, "There could be something in the future," but specified that nothing is currently planned. "Maybe in the future at some point, but not right now," she added. "I'm definitely focused on myself currently."
Fifth Harmony was formed in 2012 with Simon Cowell’s help during the second season of the American version of The X Factor. The group secured third place and subsequently released hits like "Worth It" and "Work From Home," alongside their studio albums Fifth Harmony, Reflection, and 7/27.
In December 2016, the group announced Camila Cabello's departure as she pursued a solo career. The band continued as a quartet and later went on hiatus in March 2018 to allow members to focus on solo endeavors. They stated, "We are all very excited and grateful to be able to take this time to learn and grow creatively." The group emphasized their intent to bring back new experiences to the Fifth Harmony family.
Since their hiatus, the band has not released any new music.
Earlier, SSP reported that Queen Camilla withdrew from Remembrance events due to chest infection.
