Leslie Grossman Is Engaged: ‘I’m So Happy!’
Actress Leslie Grossman, known for her roles in Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menéndez and American Horror Story, has announced her engagement.
Grossman shared the news on October 22 during an episode of Jennie Garth’s podcast, I Choose Me With Jennie Garth. "I am engaged, which is so fun!" the 52-year-old actress exclaimed. "That’s a wild thing that I didn’t see coming. Not that I didn’t see it coming with this person, but it’s unexpected."
Previously, Grossman was married to Jon Bronson for 20 years. They divorced in 2020 and share an adopted daughter named Goldie, who is now 17.
"I’m so happy for you," Garth told Grossman, expressing her congrats. Grossman replied, "I’m so happy for me too! He’s a wonderful person. It’s funny that this is the first time I’m discussing it publicly." However, she did not reveal the name of her fiancé.
"This is a very lucky and wonderful next chapter. My whole life got reorganized around my 50th birthday. Everything was thrown up into the air and fell to the ground," Grossman explained. She reflected on life changes leading up to her 50th birthday, including her split from Bronson.
"I was intentional about deciding what I wanted to carry into this next chapter," she stated. Grossman noted that she and Bronson parted ways when she was "around 48 or 49," but that change marked the start of her new journey.
"It was a challenging time," Grossman shared. "I was married for almost 21 years, and it ended in the first month of the pandemic. The timing couldn’t have been worse. Shortly after, my sister-in-law died—my brother’s wife, who felt like my sister. Facing these events, I understood I needed to be brave. I truly experienced a hard reset."
Recently, Grossman portrayed Judalon Smyth in Netflix’s Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menéndez, along with a role as Rabbi Shira in an episode of Nobody Wants This, featuring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.
