Liam Payne: Friend Describes Playful Encounter Before Tragic Incident
Liam Payne's close friend Roger Nores, currently under scrutiny from Argentinian authorities, claims that the singer appeared fine before his tragic fall from the CasaSur Palermo Hotel balcony. Nores stated in the upcoming documentary, "TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame?" set to air Monday night on FOX, that he had spent time with Liam on that fateful day. Nores checked in on him several times and observed him seeming happy and only slightly intoxicated up until their last encounter an hour before the incident, TMZ reported.
In stark contrast, authorities suggest that Liam was far from fine. Reports indicate he was consuming alcohol heavily, using cocaine, and sent a concerning text to Roger, asking for "6 grams." Eyewitness accounts paint a different picture, claiming Liam's condition deteriorated throughout the day.
Bret Watson, a Chicago resident who was at the hotel celebrating his wedding, noticed Liam throughout the day. Watson remarked that the singer seemed increasingly intoxicated, observing his decline in behavior. Just over thirty minutes before Liam's fall, Watson witnessed him agitated after seeing something on his computer. In a fit of rage, Liam allegedly threw his laptop to the ground.
Hotel staff intervened due to Liam’s disruptive behavior, prompting them to escort him back to his room. There, he was left alone, further deepening the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his tragic demise. The documentary also features a waiter allegedly linked to supplying cocaine to Liam, highlighting the pressing questions around the events leading up to his fall.
