Madonna Reveals How Twin Daughters Estere and Stella Feel When Returning to Malawi

Madonna recently shared details about life with her twin daughters, Estere and Stella. She adopted the girls in February 2017 from an orphanage in Malawi. Now at age 12, they return to their birthplace, often accompanied by their famous mom. Together, they engage in charitable work through Madonna’s nonprofit, Raising Malawi. In a recent interview, Madonna provided a rare glimpse into the twins’ experiences. This is prepared by SSP.
The singer expressed, "The girls have a lot of empathy for vulnerable children in need of life-saving medical care." Madonna also emphasized their gratitude for living in a place where medical services are easily accessible.
In total, Madonna has six children. Alongside Estere and Stella, she is also the mother of David Banda and Mercy James, both 19, as well as Lourdes Leon, 28, and Rocco Ritchie, 24, from previous relationships. This philanthropic journey has brought Madonna closer to her children.

"We are so much closer because we have a common goal," she explained. Their shared focus is on improving circumstances for children in Malawi. The Queen of Pop established Raising Malawi in 2006 aimed at enhancing the lives of Malawi's youth. In 2017, she inaugurated the Mercy James Centre, the country's inaugural pediatric hospital.
On March 11, Madonna announced an initiative allowing supporters to help as Raising Malawi Partners. Contributing any monthly amount provides relevant medical care and allows for access to behind-the-scenes updates, along with exclusive merchandise and experiences.
When reflecting on her bond with her adopted children, Madonna recalled, "It’s inexplicable." She described it as looking into someone's eyes and feeling their soul. This profound connection pushed her towards adoption. After meeting Estere and Stella, she realized the desire for her home to be filled with children's laughter.
During one of their returns, Estere and Stella attended the Mercy James Centre's opening alongside their mother. "They were really happy to be there and speak Chichewa with everybody," Madonna noted. They gradually embraced the knowledge that Madonna is their forever mom.
The twins have accompanied Madonna on stage for several performances, including her Madame X Tour and a Pride event in Brooklyn last year. Their family and charitable journey continue to intertwine seamlessly.
Earlier, SSP reported that Margo Price embraced sobriety.
