Marcus Jordan's Arrest: Released Video Details Admission of Drinking

Marcus Jordan was arrested on February 4, 2025, and charged with cocaine possession, driving under intoxication, and resisting arrest. The incident was captured on bodycam footage, PEOPLE reported.

The video reveals 34-year-old Marcus Jordan stating, "I'm Marcus Jordan. I'm Michael Jordan's son. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm just trying to get home. And I made a wrong turn. Okay?" An officer suggested that Jordan might have consumed too much alcohol. In response, Jordan replied, "I disagree with that, sir, but whatever you say... I hear you, but I disagree."

Officers arrived to find Jordan's blue sports car stuck on the side of railroad tracks. An officer warned him about an approaching train and instructed him to exit the vehicle. Jordan responded, "I know, that’s why I’m trying to get the f--- out of here." Despite his frustration, the officer indicated that his car was "buried" and stuck.

Once outside the vehicle, officers questioned Jordan about how he became stranded. He explained that he had "got discombobulated" and taken a wrong turn.

During the encounter, Jordan referenced his father, saying, "I’m just trying to get home." He emphasized that putting his $330,000 car onto railroad tracks was not his intention. When officers inquired about alcohol consumption, Jordan admitted to having "a little bit" to drink that night, claiming it was "under the legal limit."

In the footage, he attempted a field sobriety test. Asked to rate his sobriety on a scale of 0 to 10, Jordan responded "3," leading officers to begin placing him in handcuffs.

While handcuffed, Jordan debated with officers, asserting he was "not drunk" and declaring his "opinion was different" from theirs. Officers noticed Jordan’s eyes appeared "bloodshot and glassy," and he appeared confused about his location. A police report indicated despite insisting his blood alcohol content was under the legal limit, Jordan could not complete any of the required field sobriety tests.

An officer noted that a "stronger odor of an alcoholic beverage" emerged as Jordan spoke and observed him growing agitated during the interactions. Following his arrest, a white substance was discovered in his pocket, which tested positive for cocaine. He then faced a $4,000 bond for his release.
