Mark Wahlberg Celebrates Daughter Grace's 15th Birthday with Sweet Then-and-Now Snaps
Mark Wahlberg recently took to Instagram to mark his daughter Grace's 15th birthday. He shared a delightful video showcasing a nostalgic photo of them together when she was a toddler. The clip transitions to a current video of Grace, dressed in a white shirt and wearing sunglasses.
Wahlberg captioned the post, "Happy b day Grace🥳🥰15 !!! Wow that was fast🥰🥳😘." This heartfelt message captures both his pride and the swift passage of time.
The Uncharted star and his wife, Rhea Durham, have a family of four: Ella, 21, Michael, 18, Brendan, 16, and Grace. Wahlberg consistently shares loving tributes to his children on social media. He often highlights Grace's achievements and growth in past interviews.
In a November 2023 conversation with E! News, Wahlberg discussed Grace's passion for horses and her strong discipline. He remarked, "My daughter, believe it or not, is more disciplined than me." He attributes this self-discipline to her aspiration of becoming an Olympian.
Earlier in June, in an interview with PEOPLE, he mentioned how Grace's dedication affects her older siblings. "She's doing things that my other kids are starting to think, 'We’ve got to start doing something because she’s got it all figured out,'" Wahlberg explained.
He humorously mentioned calling Grace early in the day to catch her before she left for the barn. "She was already at the barn on the horse," he noted. This illustrates her commitment to her passions and a solid work ethic he admires.
Wahlberg emphasizes the importance of being a father amidst his busy career. "I want to give my kids the world, but also want them to appreciate everything," he said in a 2011 interview with Boston Common.
"My role as a dad is the most important one. If I fail at this, I fail at everything," he added, recognizing his sometimes strict yet loving parenting style. "If my kids want something, they usually get it, but they’re not getting away with stuff."
Earlier, SSP reported that Mike Pence shared what he said to Donald Trump during first meeting since 2021.
