Meghan Markle Praises Fans for Trying Her Recipes from Netflix Show

Meghan Markle's fans are re-creating recipes from her Netflix show, "With Love, Meghan," and she is thrilled!
On Sunday, March 9, Meghan shared a few social media posts showcasing fans who made her honey lemon layer cake and other dishes featured on the show. Many users posted pictures of Meghan’s crudités platters, citrus cake, one-pot pasta, and focaccia. "Love seeing how inspired you are by 'With Love, Meghan'," the Duchess of Sussex commented on the shared screenshots. "Keep up the beautiful work!"
One user on Threads shared their success with the recipes, posting pictures and writing, "I made menu items from her show, and everyone loved it!" They highlighted the honey lemon layer cake, one-pot pasta, and focaccia, noting how delicious they turned out. "Listen if you don’t do anything else, make yourself one of these. I’m going to try the Tempura Fried Chicken next," they added.

Another Threads user shared their attempt at the one-pot pasta recipe. They captured their cooking process, which features spaghetti, olive oil, tomatoes, vegetables, and cheese. Megan explained on the show, "You put the dry pasta in, you pour boiling water on top, and that’s it," emphasizing how simple the dish is.

Since its release on March 4 on Netflix, "With Love, Meghan" has received mixed reviews. The show's director, Michael Steed, praised Meghan's culinary skills in an interview, stating, "Her cooking is pretty spot-on. She’s not a chef... but there’s just a love of cooking that is palpable."

Conversely, celebrity chef Jameson Stocks critiqued the show, saying, "I honestly thought it was terrible… it’s quite painful to watch. I think she should go back to acting." He recognized her talents and suggested that she should focus on her strengths.
"With Love, Meghan" has already filmed a second season and will return later this year.
