Meghan Markle's Netflix Series, With Love, Meghan: Premiere Details
The Duchess of Sussex is debuting her new Netflix series, "With Love, Meghan," on January 15. Meghan announced the series on January 2 via her new Instagram account, expressing her excitement about this personal project, in which she serves as both host and executive producer, PEOPLE reported.
Meghan wrote, "I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year!" She expressed gratitude towards her crew and Netflix team for their support and collaboration. The trailer includes scenes of Meghan cooking, managing a beehive, and engaging friends and guests, including Prince Harry. She emphasizes elevating everyday moments, stating, "We’re not in the pursuit of perfection; we're in the pursuit of joy."
Netflix describes "With Love, Meghan" as an inspiring series that blends practical how-to’s with genuine conversations among friends, both new and old. The program aims to embody playfulness over perfection while showcasing the beauty in everyday moments. Meghan shares personal insights and encourages viewers to get hands-on in the kitchen and the garden.
The series spans eight episodes, each approximately 33 minutes long. Friends featured in the series include makeup artist Daniel Martin, photographer Delfina Blaquier, and actress Mindy Kaling, among others. Culinary influences come from esteemed chefs Roy Choi and Alice Waters, who share their expertise with the audience.
"With Love, Meghan" is directed by Michael Steed, known for "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown," and is produced in partnership with Leah Hariton of "Selena + Chef," Archewell Productions, and The Intellectual Property Corporation, a Sony Pictures Television division.
This series marks Meghan's first solo hosting effort on Netflix, providing an intimate peek into her life. It follows the couple’s previous docuseries, "Polo," which debuted in December and struggled with popularity. Conversely, their long-form documentary "Harry & Meghan" saw considerable success with over 81 million viewing hours.
Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 and moving to California, Meghan and Harry have engaged deeply in media production through a reported $100 million Netflix deal. Meghan's passion for cooking was previously showcased in her lifestyle blog, The Tig, and through a collaborative cookbook project.
In March 2025, Meghan offered early insight into her upcoming lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. The announcement included a playful reveal of jars of strawberry jam, hinting at her culinary ambitions.
Additionally, the series announcement coincided with Meghan’s launch of a new Instagram account, @meghan, marking a fresh start for 2025. Her inaugural post featured an intimate video captured by Prince Harry, celebrating the new year. The profile picture captures Meghan's bright spirit, enhancing expectations for sharing positive and meaningful connections with followers.
The new series and her social media presence reflect Meghan's intentions to engage globally and keep her audience updated on her creative journey.
