Millie Bobby Brown's Husband Jake Bongiovi Displays Acting Talent in New Trailer
Jake Bongiovi, Millie Bobby Brown's husband, showcased his acting skills in the new trailer for Max's Sweethearts. This film will be available on the streaming platform starting November 28.
Jake, married to Millie Bobby Brown in a private ceremony last May, is stepping into the spotlight with his role in Sweethearts. Now, Millie isn't the only actor in their household.
This movie features Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka and The Power actor Nico Hiraga. They play two college friends trying to steer through their romantic lives. Jake portrays Kellan, a hometown friend who delivers a comedic moment when he mispronounces "Je t'aime," the French phrase for "I love you." In another scene, the 22-year-old appears shirtless with friends while attempting to ignite a turkey.
Jake made his acting debut in Rockbottom earlier this year. He stated that Sweethearts marked his first day on a film set, as shared with Flaunt Magazine in September.
Despite his famous father, singer Jon Bon Jovi, Jake is striving hard to break into acting. He articulated his experience, saying, "Like every actor, I’m attending numerous auditions, aiming to make my mark. Regardless of experience, it feels like everyone is navigating the same uphill struggle."
Having previously attended Syracuse University, Jake decided to leave to pursue acting full-time. He shared ambitions for his dream role, noting he hopes for an opportunity in a science fiction drama.
"That would be my crème-de-la-crème," he explained. "I’m drawn to films exploring the future, as they offer extensive world-building potential while anchoring themselves in relatable themes. That combination produces outstanding sci-fi cinema."
