Mindy Kaling recently praised Meghan Markle's exceptional cooking skills. According to Kaling, Markle is quite skilled in the kitchen as she prepares to debut her new Netflix lifestyle series, *With Love, Meghan*, later this month.

The trailer for the show, released last week, features Markle cooking a delicious meal for Kaling in their shared kitchen in Montecito, California. Kaling, 45, shared the story of her guest appearance during a red carpet interview with Deadline at the Golden Globes on January 5. She revealed, "I was on maternity leave when Meghan texted me, inviting me to Montecito for the show. I jumped at the chance to be there and enjoy her cooking."

Although Kaling considers herself an "OK cook," she was wowed by Markle's culinary abilities. Kaling remarked, "Meghan kind of blew me out of the water. Her recipes are really accessible." Kaling noted Markle's dedication to gardening, mentioning, "She creates everything from scratch and even raises chickens. I would likely struggle to care for them, but it all seemed quite feasible."

During the cooking session, Kaling did not have the opportunity to try Prince Harry's cooking. She mentioned, "I've heard that he’s a pretty good cook." Kaling expressed her admiration, saying, "He knows his way around a kitchen."

Markle’s lifestyle series is scheduled to begin on January 15. The show aims to redefine lifestyle programming, with Markle leading conversations and sharing practical life tips alongside friends. She stated in the trailer, "I've always loved taking something ordinary and elevating it, surprising others with thoughtful moments."

Produced by Markle, the eight-episode series will include guest appearances from Kaling, Harry, and former *Suits* co-star Abigail Spencer. The series aims to provide viewers with playful and accessible advice on creating beauty in everyday life. The show description says, "Meghan embraces playfulness over perfection, inviting viewers to join her in the kitchen and beyond."

*With Love, Meghan* represents the second series from Meghan and Harry’s deal with Netflix, following the release of *Harry's Polo* last month. Before its announcement, a source informed *Us Weekly* that the series would portray "Meghan and the joy of living," highlighting her insights into modern-day hospitality.
