Motorola's upcoming foldable handsets, the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, have been confirmed
Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra are set to be launched globally on June 25, following their debut in China. These new foldable handsets are expected to succeed the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. Alongside them, the Motorola S50 Neo, which is likely to be released globally as the Moto G85 5G, will be introduced in China. Recent leaks have provided insights into the prices, color options, and features of the upcoming Motorola Razr 50 series phones, as well as details of the Moto G85 5G.
The rumored prices for the Motorola Razr 50 start at EUR 899 (approximately Rs. 80,500) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Meanwhile, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to be priced at EUR 1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,07,300) for the 12GB + 512GB configuration. The base model is likely to be available in Grey, Orange, and Sand color options, while the Ultra variant could come in Blue, Green, and Peach shades.
In addition, the Moto G85 5G, as per reports, may carry a price tag of EUR 349 (around Rs. 31,200) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. It is said that the phone will be offered in three different colors - Grey, Olivin, and Surf (Blue).
Rumors suggest that the vanilla Motorola Razr 50 could be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC and a 3,950mAh battery featuring 33W fast charging support. As for the Razr 50 Ultra, it is speculated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, accompanied by a 4,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging capabilities. Both phones are expected to sport a 6.9-inch full-HD+ OLED main screen and a 3.6-inch cover display. In terms of cameras, they might feature 50-megapixel dual rear camera setups and 32-megapixel selfie cameras.
The Moto G85 5G is believed to be a rebranded version of the Motorola S50 Neo. It is predicted to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and a 6.6-inch full-HD+ OLED screen. The device is likely to house a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.
