NFL WAG Alyssa Takitaki Calls Herself "Essentially Homeless" During Free Agency

Alyssa Takitaki, the wife of NFL player Sione Takitaki, shared a challenging aspect of life with a football star. On March 10, Alyssa used TikTok to discuss the pressures and uncertainties that come with the NFL free agency.
In her post, Alyssa indicated how the free agency process impacts their current situation. "The NFL free agency is crazy," she expressed, revealing their precarious living condition. "I don’t know where I’m going to live! We’re essentially homeless… for now."
She detailed how the free agency works and the confusion that it creates for players and their families. "Free agency means teams calling," she explained. "You’re trying to make plans. I have no idea where we might end up, and just when you think you know, plans can change last minute."
Alyssa opened up about the instability of being married to an NFL player. "The only sure thing in the NFL is that it’s unsure," she remarked. "I can rely on the fact that uncertainty is part of it."
She humorously noted how daunting house-hunting can be. "I literally have to slap myself when I look for homes or rentals on Zillow; it’s just insane."
Alyssa met Sione at Brigham Young University in Utah. They started dating in 2015 and were married in 2016. The couple welcomed their son, Zion, in spring 2024.

Sione has expressed how vital Alyssa is to his life and career. In a 2019 interview with WYKC, he revealed, "I got really lucky. I married a great girl. I first saw her in church—beautiful. She always pushes me to do better. Before her, I made decisions on the fly."
He continued, saying, "With a good girl by my side, I consider every decision carefully. We just fit well together. She is an amazing friend and will be a great mom. I feel fortunate; she is out of my league."
