Nosferatu Stars Shine at Film's L.A. Premiere

Lily-Rose Depp and her castmates made a striking appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of the horror film Nosferatu. Held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on December 12th, the event highlighted Depp, who looked angelic in a silver satin gown that resonated with the film's eerie theme. Her ensemble, a sleeveless, floor-length dress, featured a matching embroidered overlay. The actress, known for her role as Ellen Hutter in this Robert Eggers-directed remake, complemented her look with a nude, smokey eye makeup, peach-hued cheeks, and a bronze contour. Depp stood out on the red carpet while posing alongside her colleagues—Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bill Skarsgård, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, and Nicholas Hoult—as well as director Robert Eggers. Notably, Dafoe opted for a classic black suit coupled with a gray shirt, making a subtle fashion statement, whereas Corrin took fashion risks with a sheer strapless dress, lace headpiece, and bold red lipstick.

Following the 1922 silent film, Nosferatu, this modern iteration delves into the story of Thomas Hutter, a real estate agent played by Hoult, who gets entangled when transylvanian vampire Count Orlok, portrayed by Skarsgård, becomes infatuated with his wife, Ellen (Depp). The film is an homage to one of the earliest horror movies inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula. In a previous interview with the Los Angeles Times, Eggers praised Depp for her depth of understanding of the character and narrative, revealing how her audition deeply moved everyone present.

Also present at the premiere were Alexander Skarsgard, Charli XCX, and Jaden Smith. Anticipation around the film grew as it secured four Critics' Choice Awards nominations for Best Cinematography, Production Design, Costume Design, and Makeup and Hairstyling. Nosferatu was released in theaters on December 25th, much awaited by horror aficionados.
