Nvidia's New App to Replace GeForce Experience by End of Year

Nvidia is on the verge of releasing its new app, which is slated to replace the GeForce Experience by the end of 2024. The app, referred to merely as the "Nvidia app," emerged earlier this year and has been in beta. According to Nvidia, "all remaining GeForce Experience users" will be transitioned to this new app before the year's close. This is prepared by SSP.

Recently, Nvidia enhanced the app with new features, such as toggling G-Sync on and off, enabling multi-monitor support for RTX HDR, and allowing driver rollback. Additionally, the app notifies users if DRM content might interfere with ShadowPlay recording.

Future updates to the app are expected to integrate more functionalities from the Nvidia Control Panel, including surround options, custom resolutions, and multi-monitor configurations. Therefore, both the GeForce Experience and Nvidia Control Panel will eventually phase out in favor of the new app, which was initially launched in February.

Among its user-friendly features, the app allows modifications to font color and style for clearer statistic displays. Users can select from thousands of colors for the UI and enjoy persistent sorting and filtering of games and applications, with options to hide or remove manually added programs.

The latest updates also permit font changes on the Heads Up Display, improving accessibility. Additionally, it retains users' game settings preferences between app sessions.
