Paris Hilton Auctions Iconic Y2K Fashion for L.A. Wildfire Relief — Already Sold Out!

Paris Hilton is making headlines with her recent charity auction. The DJ and heiress, 44, took to Instagram on February 19, 2025, to share exciting news about auctioning her vintage fashion items. This sale aims to support wildfire relief following the devastating blaze that impacted her Malibu home last month, PEOPLE reported.
In her post, Hilton announced her collaboration with "Vestiaire Collective" to sell her "iconic pre-loved pieces." She explained that all net proceeds would benefit her charity, @11.11media Impact. Relevant reports indicate that funds will direct help toward wildfire charities through Hilton’s nonprofit, supporting communities affected by the recent fires in Los Angeles.
The response to the sale was astounding. Vestiaire Collective confirmed within a day that the auction sold out. The collection featured nearly 100 items, including a purple velour "Juicy Couture" tracksuit and a multicolored Louis Vuitton "Chrissie" cloth handbag.
Hilton and her close friend Nicole Richie were significant influences in early 2000s fashion. They popularized trends such as Von Dutc hats, low-rise jeans, and Moon Boots. Reflecting on their style, Hilton expressed delight about Y2K fashion, stating, "It was the most fun time in fashion." She spoke with Glamour in December 2024, emphasizing how audacious and extravagant those styles were.
In her statement about the auction, Hilton reiterated the sale supports both wildfire relief efforts and her continuous mission to help vulnerable youth. "This sale will support my charity’s work around relief efforts for the devastating LA fires," she noted, highlighting her passion for merging fashion and charity.

Hilton’s experience with the fires personally affected her. She expressed heartbreak upon learning of the loss of her Malibu home during live TV coverage. "Heartbroken beyond words," Hilton wrote on Instagram on January 8. "Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience."
Despite her loss, Hilton swiftly launched an emergency fund for fire victims, donating $100,000 shortly after the unfortunate event. Additionally, she fostered a dog named Zuzu from Pasadena Humane after Zuzu’s family lost their home in Altadena. With her actions, Hilton continues to lend support to those affected while sharing cherished pieces from her wardrobe.
