Patrick Mahomes Celebrates Son Bronze’s "Legacy" with Special Video
Patrick Mahomes shared heartfelt sentiments about legacy as he and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, prepare for their third child. They already have two children: daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, who is 23 months old.
The Mahomes family will celebrate Bronze’s second birthday on November 28. Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, announced a new Adidas shoe to honor his son.
"Three rings," Patrick says in a video posted on Instagram on November 25, alluding to his Super Bowl victories. "Three stripes. Three generations. The legend lives on the field. The legacy lives at home." He later added in the caption, "Celebrating Bronze’s birthday with his own colorway."
In the video, Bronze wore his namesake sneakers that feature three metallic stripes. Meanwhile, Patrick had on the adult version of the same shoes. Bronze also sported a black Adidas hoodie and matching joggers. As Patrick observed, the toddler ran around with a bronze-colored football, radiating joy.
Brittany expressed her excitement for Bronze’s milestone too. She reacted with enthusiasm on Instagram Stories while resharing the video. "Omg, my wittle Bronze," wrote the former professional soccer player. Brittany is also expecting their third child.
Could Bronze become a football player like his dad? Patrick stated his interest last year regarding both kids and sports. "I obviously want them to play sports," he remarked to E! News. Both he and Brittany enjoyed sports during their childhood, believing in the values they impart.
While Patrick emphasizes the importance of following their dreams, he takes delight in Sterling’s budding interest in soccer. "We never taught her to play soccer," he shared. "She watched games with us because we attended Kansas City Current games. She simply began kicking soccer balls into the goal." Patrick expresses wonder at her natural ability, acknowledging that no coaching was involved.
