Pete Davidson recently provided a life update ahead of the SNL50: The Anniversary Special. Speaking exclusively with E! News at a pre-2025 Super Bowl party, he expressed his positive well-being.
Davidson kicked off Super Bowl weekend with upbeat energy. Just one day before the game, he attended a gathering hosted by Michael Rubin in New Orleans. While donning a light blue Staten Island FerryHawks T-shirt and a white Cafe du Monde bucket hat, Pete said he was doing "fantastic." He enthusiastically exclaimed, "Look at me! I look fantastic."
At 31, Davidson has openly discussed his mental health struggles in the past. His cheerful remarks came shortly before NBC's three-hour SNL50: The Anniversary Special, which will feature him alongside former cast members. He conveyed excitement about reuniting with former co-star John Mulaney. "I love Lorne Michaels. It's an honor to celebrate him and his accomplishments," he shared. He encouraged fans to tune in, expressing happiness about the event.
This public proclamation follows Davidson's return to the spotlight after more than a year of limited appearances. Two months ago, he stepped back onto the red carpet after spending time in rehab for mental health treatment. In recent weeks, he has participated in various talk shows and promotional events for Dog Man, where he voices the villain Petey.

While he hasn’t revealed much about his dating life, Davidson did discuss his relationship dynamics. He mentioned his past romance with Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline, which ended last summer. Reflecting on dating, he acknowledged, "I'm the girl...some guys are shy and like when a lady's like, 'Hey.'" He emphasized his preference for an assertive partner, saying, "Because I grew up with all ladies in the house; I act pretty feminine."
Davidson also highlighted the influence of his family background. He lost his father, firefighter Scott Davidson, in the September 11, 2001 attacks. Pete recalled the impact of being raised by women in his household.
Earlier, SSP wrote that Brittany Mahomes enjoyed ‘first adventure in NOLA’ with kids before Super Bowl.
