Richard Gere's Wife Alejandra Silva Celebrates Actor on His First Spanish Father's Day with Heartwarming Family Photos

On Wednesday, March 19, Alejandra Silva, Richard Gere's wife, celebrated them on Father's Day. She posted several heartwarming photos on Instagram featuring Gere, 75, and their three younger boys at the beach. The family has recently returned to Silva's native Spain, PEOPLE reported.
In several of the images, Gere and Silva dash through the waves alongside their sons, Alexander, 5, and James, 4. One heartwarming image features Gere, their boys, and Silva’s son Albert, 11, leaning close together.
"Happy 1st Spanish Father's Day to the dad of the world," Silva wrote across one touching photo of Gere and their children.
Silva expressed her affection in Spanish, stating, "Feliz primer día del padre español ♥️♥️ Te queremos!!! #fathersday #diadelpadre," which means, "Happy First Spanish Father's Day! We love you!"
In her Instagram Story, Silva shared drawings created by their children to honor Gere. "Happy Father's Day!" she added beside the family’s artistic tributes.
While also a father to 24-year-old son Homer, whom he shares with ex-wife Carey Lowell, Gere has immersed himself in his family life.

Silva recently spoke to ELLE España, praising Gere’s dedication as a father. "Richard is very devoted and present. He loves reading stories to them. It might seem like an idyllic picture, but it’s true. He’s a great dad," she shared. She also mentioned their household dynamics, stating, "He doesn’t cook. I handle that, but when it’s my turn, he plays the guitar."
In the same interview, Gere reflected on the joy he has discovered since moving to Spain with Silva and their children. "We are happier than ever," he confessed, finding fulfillment in their new family chapter. "If [Alejandra] is happy, I am happy."
