Rumer Willis Celebrates Demi Moore’s Golden Globes Win with Sisters Scout and Tallulah: ‘This Is Just the Beginning’
Demi Moore has achieved a significant milestone. At 62 years old, she received her first Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy or musical. This award recognized her performance in "The Substance."
On January 5, during the ceremony, considerable support surrounded her at home. Moore's three daughters, Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis, along with her 21-month-old granddaughter Lou, cheered her on.
Rumer, 36, expressed her pride through Instagram Stories. She noted, "What a gift to witness you shine and be acknowledged not only for the incredible work you did in this film but throughout your entire career." She concluded with an encouraging message: "This is just the beginning."
Scout, the middle daughter at 33, shared her emotional reaction. She posted, "I am so beyond proud; my entire body is buzzing with joy and gratitude!!"
Tallulah, 30, provided heartfelt praise, referring to her mother as the "greatest teacher." She shared, "This woman is my teacher, my guide, my friend. The world is seeing you as your family does, and I am beaming with pride." Tallulah also captured the emotional moment when her mother realized she'd won, stating, "The genuine shock makes me tear up. You are so worthy of this."
Demi Moore received admiration from Bruce Willis's current wife, Emma Heming Willis, who congratulated her on Instagram, exclaiming, "We’re screaming over here!!! Congratulations @demimoore!!!!!"
The trio of sisters recorded a video of the moment Moore's name was announced. They jumped with excitement, proving how supportive they are.
When she won, Moore looked visibly surprised. Taking the stage, she delivered a heartfelt speech about her long-lasting career in entertainment. "Oh wow. I really wasn’t expecting that," she acknowledged while holding her Golden Globe. "I’ve been doing this for over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor. Later that night, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah celebrated the victory in person. They took a selfie with actor Glen Powell while proudly displaying their mom’s Golden Globe.
