Samantha Hanratty Reveals the Name of Her First Child with Christian DeAnda

Samantha Hanratty has shared exciting news regarding her family. The actress, known for her role in "Yellowjackets," welcomed her first child with husband Christian DeAnda on December 31, 2024. On March 7, she posted an Instagram photo showcasing her baby in her arms and shared his name.

"My little Levi☀️," the 29-year-old actress captioned the heartwarming image.

Before Levi's birth, Hanratty utilized TikTok to share details about her pregnancy. She revealed her son would be born with a cleft lip. "I thought I'd update everyone that our baby is going to have a cleft lip and a possible cleft palate," she conveyed. Hanratty emphasized the importance of health and happiness for their children.

After her son's arrival, she shared an update regarding his health. Levi underwent surgery at the start of February. Hanratty expressed gratitude for the successful procedure. "The surgeon did an amazing job! It was a three-hour surgery and absolutely terrifying, but our little one is so strong!" she posted on Instagram.

Shortly thereafter, she informed PEOPLE that he was recovering well. At the *Yellowjackets* season 3 premiere on February 13, she reflected on motherhood. "Being a mom is amazing, but being his mom is what I'm meant to be," she shared exclusively with PEOPLE.

"Honestly, he is literally the embodiment of prayers and dreams into a person," Hanratty expressed. "He's just the greatest gift in the world. I am so obsessively in love with him. It is the best."

During her pregnancy, she found filming the third season of "Yellowjackets" while pregnant challenging. She noted, "In those moments, I feel very proud and accomplished, considering I just had an extremely difficult pregnancy and I still did the show."

Hanratty also discussed her attempts to conceal her pregnancy while on set: "I tried to cover it with my posture. I wore larger clothes, bigger pants, and all these things." She concluded by stating, "It was very interesting."
