Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager Share a 'Beautiful Night' at the White House Holiday Party
Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager created precious memories with their daughters. On Sunday, December 15, Guthrie posted a series of photos on Instagram from the holiday press party held at the White House. Among the images, a touching photo features Guthrie with her 10-year-old daughter Vale. They stood next to Bush Hager and her 11-year-old daughter Mila against a festively decorated Christmas tree.
In addition to the group photo, Guthrie shared a video capturing moments of Mila and Vale dancing around joyfully at the party. There were also solo photos showcasing each mother-daughter pair. A captivating image showed the girls posing on a red truck at the party's end, with Mila playfully pretending to yawn. Vale rested her head on Mila’s shoulder, creating a heartwarming scene.
Guthrie expressed her sentiments, writing, "A beautiful night for our kids that they won’t soon forget. Thank you @whitehouse 🇺🇸🎄❤️" in her caption.
Bush Hager also shared highlights from the festive gathering on her Instagram page. One photo displayed her trying to kiss a giggling Mila, who seemed to evade goodbye. Her posts included pictures of the girls enjoying dinner and exploring different areas of the event, along with a lovely snapshot of Mila with her grandmother, Laura Bush.
"What a magical night—seeing old friends! Experiencing this special place through my Mila's eyes! Wow!" Bush Hager wrote in her caption, adding gratitude for their invitation.
Bush Hager reminisced about her journey, stating, "Thanks so much for having us @potus. Had you told my 22-year-old self I’d be back at the press party, I would never have believed it! @savannahguthrie @sheinelle_o @libbyleist."
In addition to Vale, Guthrie has an 8-year-old son, Charley, whom she shares with husband Michael Feldman. Bush Hager. She shares Mila, as well as daughters Poppy, 9, and Hal, 5, with her husband Henry Hager.
