Selena Gomez Shines in Elegant Gown at the 2025 Golden Globes
Selena Gomez dazzled in a blue satin Prada gown at the 2025 Golden Globes. She and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, got engaged in December.
The couple displayed a radiant, newly-engaged presence at the event. Although they didn’t walk the red carpet together, they enjoyed moments side by side inside the Beverly Hilton. Blanco stole sweet moments, showering Gomez with affectionate kisses during Nikki Glaser's live monologue.
Gomez, 32, resembled royalty in her custom-designed, blue off-the-shoulder Prada gown. The elegant column skirt featured subtle pleating at the waistline. She also carried a matching scarf around her arm. Adding to the glamour, she wore a stunning diamond necklace and stud earrings from Tiffany & Co.
Hairstylist Renato Campora styled Gomez's hair into wavy bob curls inspired by classic film icons like Sofia Loren and Marilyn Monroe. He used Joico products to achieve this glamorous look.
Blanco, 36, complemented Gomez perfectly in a white textured suit with a lace mock turtleneck. His stylish look allowed Gomez's attire to take the spotlight.
Gomez received nominations for two awards this year. She is up for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Emilia Pérez and Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Only Murders in the Building. Her co-star Zoe Saldaña is also nominated in the same category. Gomez expressed her pride for Saldaña on Instagram.
In her post, she exclaimed how proud she felt. "I’m so proud of @zoesaldana and I am so grateful for @goldenglobes," Gomez wrote, sharing a video of her excitement.
Other nominees in the Best Supporting Actress category include Ariana Grande, Felicity Jones, Margaret Qualley, and Isabella Rossellini.
Gomez shared another post acknowledging her television nomination. She showcased her gratitude for her OMITB cast, also noting the nominations for Martin Short and Steve Martin.
In her category, Gomez competes against actresses Kristen Bell, Quinta Brunson, Ayo Edebiri, Kathryn Hahn, and Jean Smart. Notably, she has been nominated twice in the past.
Earlier in January, Gomez began the awards season with an all-white suit at the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival. She wore a Ralph Lauren ensemble featuring a structured blazer, tie, and pants. At one moment, she removed her blazer to reveal a button-down vest paired with a mesh top.
The Rare Beauty founder styled her hair in a sleek updo and opted for minimal jewelry, allowing her sparkling engagement ring from Blanco to shine.
On January 4, Gomez sported a delicate pink minidress by Oscar de la Renta at the same festival. She later dazzled at the Variety Creative Impact Awards, wearing a long-sleeved dress with embellished pockets, completed with pink Santoni heels.
Gomez and Blanco revealed their engagement news on Instagram on December 11. She shared numerous photos, including a close-up of her stunning marquise diamond ring, captioned "forever begins now."
Blanco, thrilled about the engagement, playfully commented, "hey wait… that’s my wife."
Gomez and Blanco began dating publicly in late June 2023. They made their awards show debut as a couple at the 2024 Emmy Awards.
