Shemar Moore Addresses Baby Plans with Jesiree Dizon
Shemar Moore recently clarified his stance on expanding his family. He is in a relationship with Jesiree Dizon, with whom he shares a two-year-old daughter named Frankie. When asked about having another baby, Shemar firmly stated, "Our home is full."
During his January 24 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Shemar expressed, "This is real life; I'm gonna keep it 100. I'm 54 years old, and my home, our home is full." Besides Frankie, he is also a stepdad to Jesiree's children: Charlie, who is six years old, and an 18-year-old son, Kaiden, from previous relationships.
Reflecting on his family dynamics, Shemar admitted concerns about his presence in his toddler's life. He revealed, "I was raised an only child. I got all the love from my mama. At 54, honestly, I don't want to worry twice. God willing, I make it to 90. That would be a blessing, but that would mean my daughter would be left at 37. A full life for me could mean gone too soon for her."
Although expanding his family isn't in the cards, Shemar is committed to being an exceptional father. He noted, "Whatever time I have left, god willing, I just want to give it all to my baby girl."
Prior to Welcoming Frankie, Shemar had reservations about fatherhood. For a time, he thought that such opportunities had passed him by. As he revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show, "I was worried for a while that it was a 'that ship has sailed' kind of thing. But god had my back, and things lined up."
Jesiree, however, always believed that parenthood was in Shemar's future. She honored him in a June 2024 Instagram post, saying, "Daddy is a GREAT look on you. It’s your best role yet."
In sweet tribute to Shemar, she concluded, "You are our everything. We love you to the moon."
