Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Calls Kody Brown's "Murder Face" Too Scary for the Kids
In the Oct. 27 episode of Sister Wives, Robyn Brown reacted to her husband Kody Brown’s intense facial expressions. She referred to his look as a "murder face," claiming it's "too scary" for their children.
The Brown family wants to avoid Kody's anger. In a confessional, Robyn said, "I call it his murder face. I hate it." She instructed him to keep his expression in check around their kids, saying, "He’s like, ‘Get in your pajamas.’ I’m like, ‘That's too scary, take it back a notch. Lift the eyebrows.’"
Insights from Kody’s Ex-Wives
Meri Brown, Kody’s first wife, commented on how he is no longer the upbeat person he once was after their spiritual marriage ended in late 2022. "He really doesn’t seem like the happy person he used to be," she stated.
Contrarily, Janelle Brown, who separated from Kody in 2022, reflected that this intensity has always characterized Kody. Janelle married him in 1993 and remarked, "Kody’s always been kind of intense. Even when he’s just talking seriously, he tends to have this face."
Kody’s Confessions and Family Dynamics
Kody acknowledged that his recent divorces contributed to his anger. During his confessional, he lamented, "I’m angry. It’s not that I’m grumpy or yelling or doing something. It’s that I have rest a--hole face."
Since his split with Christine Brown in 2021, he has faced distance from most of his adult children. This distance has caused strain in his only remaining marriage with Robyn. Christine shared with E! News, "To have kids who struggle with their dad, it’s really, really hard. I would love it if they had a good relationship with him."
Christine, who was spiritually wed to Kody for 25 years, emphasized the importance of her children accepting him. She encouraged her kids by saying, "You’ve got to accept him where he’s at. And be open, just be open when he calls, answer the phone."
