Stephen Amell Reveals His Daughter Helped Him Prepare for Suits LA

Stephen Amell recently opened up about how his daughter Maverick assisted him in preparing for his role in the new series Suits LA. The Arrow star recounted rehearsing lines from the show's pilot with Maverick, who was 10 at the time, and reflected on a humorous line exchange between his character Ted Black and another character. During the scene, when discussing an important client, Ted asserts, "If you're not signing right now, I'll cut off my left ball if they're not signing." With the deal sealed, Ted humorously claims, "Left ball lives," a line that Maverick found particularly entertaining. Even now, Maverick continues to joke with Amell about that line whenever he mentions going to work. This is prepared by SSP.
The Amell family includes wife Cassandra Jean and their two children, Maverick and Bowen. On the question of Maverick watching the series, Stephen admitted that he would allow it mainly due to his involvement, stating that there's a special provision for children's viewing when a parent contributes to the show.
Amell, portraying Ted Black, a charismatic former federal prosecutor, expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, describing it as a significant shift from his previous work. Suits LA presents Ted navigating legal challenges while personal histories resurface, reshaping his relationships and career path. In addition to Amell, the series also features stars like Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, and Bryan Greenberg, and is slated to premiere on NBC on February 23.
Earlier, SSP reported that Bobby Flay is proud of daughter Sophie’s reporting on Los Angeles wildfires.
